If you can travel to Kandivali you can learn from Mr. Ravi Iyer (Vayu - Axeman).

I have heard he's among the best.

 

Haha....i`ve met Ravi - i`m sure he is good but i wasnt actually impressed when i heard him play at a Musician's Expo (with George Flinch)....

Btw, Ravi himself has learnt frm Bismark - so my point holds good - why go to the student, when u have his tutor available ??? If I were to choose between Vai & Satch, i`d go for Satch!
