Guide me how to play pipes on the guitar?

can neone guide me how to play pipes on the guitar??????????????????

 

I have heard about (and seen) ppl smoking pipes.

What are you referring to?

lol, what I meant to say is, maybe you got the name wrong. If it's a technique of playing guitar, it would be on some popular guitar site. It's not, so, whatever you're looking for, it's probably called something else.

How did you come to know about this 'pipes' technique?

 

my friend was telling me bout dis teacher who taught his friend sum advanced techniques on da guitar....................................one of dem was pipes..................

^^ nope i didnt................ pipes is sum kinda technique i asked my old guitar teacher bout it.....................he said it does exist bt its really really advanced...........it cannot b taught by sumone typing it online....................its supposed to clear and loud and fast.............................

Maybe it cannot be taught by someone typing it online, but someone would've played using this technique and it would be online in some form right? on youtube or anything.. but it's not. I seriously doubt it exists.

I think the "pipe part" mentioned is the part played using some sort of actual pipe in the original song. I THINK. Havent heard the song in ages though and don't have it either

 

after asking a lot of ppl, this is what i came to know, but not sure

i was told that it is a classical guitar tech to reproduce sounds of wind instruments on guitar, it requires great practice and experience.
and is very very difficult to master.

it involves producing continuous sounds so that it appears to come from a wind instrument

.it is not called pipe , it has a name i will find out and let u ppl know.

 

i suspect it uses pinch harmonics
