the scale of the song depends on the chords used....not just the strating one... for eg in your song the chords used are AM DM (Bm) EM (C#m) all these are A Major scale chords.....so the song becomes A scale..... the chords in the bracket indicate the substitute minor chords for the major ones....... cheers! :beer:
