Hi guys, which of these do you think is the greatest indian band. (Please dont vote, for what you have heard from people but vote for what u know)
Ohk.. why aren;t other bands added to this list here??? All of the above are damn good... but... INDUS CREED have split up long time back... PS... What about Motherjane / Zero / Xenon??
from this list parikrama....simply cuz the other bands(from this list) ive heard are Zebediah Plush, Orange Street and i didnt particularly like either. Nebody checked out Tribe...good guitarist they got.
Motherjane / Zero / Xenon are good but i just felt that these were better so i put in these and these are also very popular. Regarding Indian Ocean i felt they are fusion, so that wont come under this poll.
From the options given above, Parikrama. Otherwise, I would say Demonic Ressurection or Sceptre or Sledge. I saw Sledge live and damn.....they are TIGHT. Amazing performance.
i dont believe Shiva and Millenium arnt in the list - they belong to the holy trinity of Indian rock - the other one being Rock Machine. and what the hell is Threntondy or whatever its called doing in this list? even Mysore has better bands than ten-toddy... Warden for one
From the list I'd say Parikrama are awesome, but my favorite Indian band are Myndsnare, Sledge and Demonic Resurrection.
Yeah...........PDV should have been there...........What about AFS? Yeah, they don't play now, but they were pretty cool.
dude no PDV and no Prestorika....no Motherjane either.... for me anyday PRESTORIKA is the best indian band...though i haven't heard many...but surely few of their songs are really international standards...especially 'here i am'
Man, you guys go out and buy the new Sledge CD. It rocks I'm telling you. If you like Obituary or Sepultura or Pantera, you'll love this album. I might review it later on too.
