good recording softwares

    hey ppl....wat recording software do u use?...i use Acoustica Mixcraft and Cakewalk guitar tracks pro..... i think these are the best recording softwares available...they got an awesome recording quality...n u can create a sound file with over 50 layers... (recordings)

    there are 3 good softwares:

    1. Sony Soundforge - very good for sound editing ...
    2. Adobe Audition - for multi tracking + editing
    3. Propellorhead Reason - the best / ultiamte ecording software ...does everything

    Lol .. I make use of Three recording softwares believe me .. Audacity, Goldwave n Nero wave editor .. make use of da features of all three :)

    an all in one audio and MIDI solution is cakewalk pro audio. but if want to shift focus on quality multitrak audio recording then adobe audition and cool edit pro (they are virtually clones) are good.

    I've been using KRISTAL for a while and its really good and easy to use and has got a powerfull multi-track recorder.

    hmm....well im not sure abt the links to all the softwares mentioned...but if u got limewire or kazaa....u'll get ;em easily from there...

    PS: cakewalk softwares are really huge... (for dial up users)

    ->512 MB SDRAM
    ->32 MB OpenGL compatible onboard graphics accelerator card
    ->Intel Pentium 4 1.72 GHz
    ->Windows XP Professional
    ->Onboard sound card (C-Media)
