GiVson G150

    I have been playing acoustic for about two years, and found out a year ago that a GiVson is manufactured in India. My question is this, when was my guitar made? What year?
    It was given to me as a gift. My friend's parents had it in a closet. Her dad bought it in Brazil for $25. Just wanting to know.

    It is a GiVson G150.

    when was ur guitar made..or the givson150 category made or givson company made? :think: im confused...btw yes..Givson is an Indian Brand..and is manufactured in Kolkata..i guess..

    @alfons - its not indian co....idians contribute lil to it....but its no indian co.!.....take a look to which country it belongs to in their site!

    hey, givson IS an indian company through and through. they have their factory here in kolkata (in fact quite near my house) and they make below average guitars except for their higher end models which are sorta okay.

    is it a good quality one ,if not it is a locally made one since i keep a great knowledge of guitars. givson is made in calcutta.it is a copy of gibson,since there could be two copycats no wonder it could be entirely diffrent brand manufacteured by a diffrent company of the same brand name.in brazil but never mind if it sounds good it is good until it is not a plywood one.to confirn check out the indian brand site (givson.com)yep it has got one
