lol ......nice clip.. one quest how do i produce this type of sound? its not from the clip u posted.. is that pressing against the strings and moving up the fretboard quickly? sorry i know i dont spend enough time with my electric guitar:
my gain is on 7 and 8 lol..im a noob when it comes to gain.... @tallkien: **** your good lol! nice amp
ohhh my gain was on 2 or 3 i think no wonder i could not get that sound  will post more clips and their settings next week...
Talkien: nice sounding amp. Its a t00b? Then probably you should've showcased the change in tone (clean <=> overdriven) with respect to picking force. Its sounds like a Marshall. Spygaim: dude, what have ya done to your set-up, the tone seems to have all the mids sucked out. Laney: clean clip sounds mellow, but that mcuh delay added makes it difficult to judge the real tone.
Lemme see, if I can get some clips from my gear. The prob being, I have stopped playing guitar for months now.
Funny you should mention that. This amp can use three different power tubes. What you heard is an EL34, which is very "Marshall" sounding, then there's a 6V6 and an El84. Of the lot the 84 is the most sensitive to picking volume, infact its downright demanding on good technique. That recording was made at quite low volume, being late evening, but I'll post clips with all three tubes at louder vol soon
