If you'd buy the best somehow, check out the Martin Guitars. They'd be better than any Ovation Guitars or Yamaha Guitars.

hi got a gb&a guitar with spruce top and rosewood side and back ...it cost me 15K(with pickup)
it sounds great... (remo f'des was at the same store and the he played the same guitar for fifteen minutes ..and he raved how good it was)
yeahthey sound good but get ones with solid tops (spruce , cedar quilted mmaple etc they are expensive but worth it )

the acoustics are priced around 3.5k and the electric strat copies (SSS) are around 5.5k...
