... i know 3 girls who are good guitar players .. and visit this website regularly, but with male names and fake ID's ... so you count them too .. along with fatima,vini, tejasi, bubbly ... etc ... now you'll ask why fake id's??? .... read this thread again and you'll knw ... u should learn to respect the ladies, some of them can kick yur ass any time .. not physically of course but when they have axe in their hands .... (your reading saba?? .. hehe the thrasher shredder!!) ..

Yeah This is an extremely STUPID thread. Makes no sense.

Im no chauvinist nor am I biased, But I very very strongly feel that the guitar / drums etc are more masculine instruments.

Well, something like the mridangam for girls, I have nothing against them playing it, but its just that they lack the aura and their presence isnt felt on stage.

We had a inter school rockout here and there was this all girls band, they had an awesome vocalist, but noone really appreciated the guitars and the drums though I felt it was far better than some of the boys bands. Again, its the stage presence that lacks in girls.

Skill wise, everyone is equal.

I don't see what this is all about. Why can't girls play??? Of course they can and they should. I know girls who can shred the **** out of many guys. I'm serious. As far as I am concerned, this a useless discussion, heading nowhere.
