He has proposed the following progression. Am/C/Am/C...G/D/F/C/F/G...G/D/F/G/F/G...Am/C/F/G/E/F/G/E/Am But I think, we can put some more modifications. For example, in the G/D/F/C/F/G, the last two chords should not be F and G but, I think they are Dm and E. Also, in the beginning Am/C progression is quite right. But after listening to the song several times this evening, I think, it should be Am and C add 9. Now you decide, how you want to play..you can use C or Cadd9. I have given the plucking style, too. That is while playing C major, simply play the 4th string open. That's it! Plucking Style: ================= fig 1: 5/4/3/1 (pause a fraction of second) 2/3 (that is, play 5,4,3 and then 1st string then pause a fraction of second and play 2 and 3rd string. Chords are heard before??? If you go through the chords in detail... They are the same as "Hotel California" - Eagles... In fact you can also sing-a-long the english number using a karaoke of the desi version :think:
@shubhadeep you are only partly right. the progression may seem the same as hotel california but two chords are different, and so is the key. hotel california is in Bm, while this song in Am. If you play the hotel california progression in Am, the progression is Am/E/G/D/F/C/Dm/E.... and the ekla ghar progression is Am/C/G/F#m/F/C/Dm/E. so you see. @taquila the first part is almost correct, but there are some problems in the chorus. will post the correct chords and lyrics soon.
