Its been long since the rain, I've been ever seeing the sky, through a hole in the wall, giant figures blocking my sight. Now its the last hour of dusk, I see around me a sea of light. Its been so long since you've gone, and I'm so close yet out of sight. These strings of melodies pierce the needles of prickly silence. But my words still mean nothing to you, Maybe my thoughts are still out of sight. But you'll forever stay inside of me, I just need to close my eyes. I just want to ask for forgiveness, I just want to break the ice. I still carry this quill in my hands, To pen my thoughts before they elope with the wind. To show you how I missed our world, Someday, we'll meet when you're kind. The pictures, though out of sight, are forever burnt in my mind.
