how do u get metallica clean tones(am talking about nothing else matters)
on zoom 505II?

 

Seriously Zoom is very good IMO . I could get even SRV tones out of it which compares very well to my Bad Monkey , its very versatile and has great chorus/tremolo effect too which is great for clean tones. Distorion wise it can do almost any high gain sound if you know how to tweak it.

 

Compressor (wrong name, according to electrical engineering terms it should be called Compander --> Compressor/Expander.

Thats it.
Invoke a compressor on the clean settings.

Feel free to go ahead and buy it then. This is in Bangalore and they still cost around Rs.4500 here.

The live S&M version features extremelt heavy dosage of chorus and compressor.
+ Chorus will also brighten the tone.

Regarding the EQ: It will be stupid for me to post it, but keep the mids slightly scooped.
