Nice and impressive. The real difference of analog and digital comes while you play, even though the listeners cannot make out any difference. : And since I have not played on POD, I cannot comment.
Fair enough. But this is what makes PODs irresistible for home recording purposes. And live you can hook up to 2 Atomic Reactor flat-response tube amps and get tube response and sab that you crave as a player.
Nothing delivered to me yet:-(. But in principle (i.e. things I have bought so far): Line 6 Variax Line 6 Pod XT Live Yamaha G50 MIDI Convertor Tansen Jackson Soloist copy In the pipeline: Yamaha Stagepas 300 stereo powered monitor/mixer (150 W each side) Transplanting the Variax into a custom-built guitar by Erisa Neogy with a Sustainiac in the neck, DiMarzio X2N in the bridge and an internally-mounted Roland GK-3 along with the Variax circuitry.
Atomic kahin milta hi nahin hai. The archtop idea is a little way off..a couple of years at least (esp. since the Variax has 4 archtops in it)
