    After watching the french beat spain I knew they had got it together at last.
    Lets face it the team is packed with stars who are all world class.
    With the Maestro (Zidanne) playing at his brilliant best I think they can win the tournament.

    Yes it will be France V Germany final.

    I have to back Germany though because thier my fav. and home advantage may just give them the edge.

    ARGENTINA, WHO PLAYED ONE OF THE BEST FOOTBALL IN THIS TOURNAMENT, HAD TO GET OUT OF THE TOURNAMENT... BAD LUCK...

    NOW I SUPPORT ANYONE EXCEPT GERMANY FOR THE SEMIS AND FINALS...
    I PRAY THAT THEY (GER) LOSE MISERABLY...

    AND ...YEAAHHHHH... ENGLAND LOST......

    I have already expressed my sadist joy after Argentina and England's loss in the other thread....but I can't help myself.....hahahaha...the guys were pissing me off about argentina and england and brazil...I was the only one for Germany....Now it seems me along with five other sane people have voted for the most probable contender...Germany....:)

    Damn...for the first time in my life I actually woke up till 3 to watch a "Football" match supporting Brazil....& they Lost..:mad: France is a one man army...Zidanne is the onli one i guess...but they deserved to Win that day...as Brazil was playing really bad...& yeah..over-confidence is the key to their defeat :(
    [I still Love Ronaldinho...he'll b bk nxt time :)]
    Saturday was truly disappointing...though i kno England wud lose but i wanted them to win...anyways...Beckham is out now..lets c whoz goin to b the nxt one...:think:

    Now m gonna support Italy...cos Germany ne Argentina ko haraya, Portugal ne England ko & France ne Brazil ko...so they hv lost my vote :p:

    @Garry .. Brasil weren't beaten coz they were overconfident .. France kicked their ass and outplayed them. So 100% credit to France.

    n Not just Zidane (My first and last Idol) but Ribery, Henry, Vieira, Thuram all played well .. Though Zidane was dominant and totally overshadowed Ronaldinho ..

    Its Fascinating what he can do to a football !

    Son, like I told Shak (who btw also supports England), the main reason I will not support England is because of the racism which is prevalent in English supporters.

    How can I associate myself with people who use football hooliganism to vent thier hatred towards pakis?
    Rememeber, to them all brown people are pakis.
    Something unfortunately Jamhead is acutely unaware of.

    As for the picture, don't take offence. You should know this is typical British sense of houmour.
    To proove it I have shown this to all my English colleague and they found it hillarious.



    Finally I love the intelligent Briton probably more than any people in the world.
    Thats probably why I support England in Rugby, which is a gentlemans sport.

    So what does supporting a nation really mean.
