    ^ Hey 100-Dhawan.
    A solid state amp ALWAYS sounds better way below its rated capacity.
    Say, you amp is rated for 50W. At 50W solid state amp will start farting.
    At 40 W it will sound loose.
    At 20 W it will sound tight.

    It is totally different from a Tube amp, where the closer you get to the rated wattage, the better harmonic content you get (and thus the sweeter tone)

    And ofcourse, the larger amp will have (usually) 12" sp[eakers that give more puchier and bassier tone than a small speaker would.

    So, if you want 50W amp, get it by all means.

    MG's are useless above 50% of their volume

    I like Marshall MG series. I like the clean as well as the overdrive channels. The overdrive is a bit fuzzy but it can sound absolutely amazing too if EQued properly.
