Best Beat Keeper [Drummer] Well the best drummer technically who has mastered the art of drumming should have a good beat keep, like at different Riffs to have the same different beats count. I felt Metallica's Lars Ulrich is 1 of the worst. Lombardo's wasnt that great either. Among the best i feel was Vinnie Paul [Pantera] and no one as close to him. Now i know i post a lot bout this chap but i'm not biased here. Its hard to keep track of Portnoy with his huge set....
There was a thread on this and it was quite recent. ps: Vinnie Paul isnt the only drummer in the world. Thread Merged
WTH  then why r u a so called Pantallica fan ? anyways Disturbed's drummer is gud watever his name is.
I like Metallica's music thou Lars Ulrich aint the best drummer... he's good enough to keep Metallica rollin....
Wats the use of the forum if everythin gets dumped into a single thread.... no1 wud care of goin thru each n every post. Wat a dumb rule.
I saw a thing like this: - Best Drum Solo - Favourite Drummer - Drumming videos In that sequence. Thats all.
Hey, does anyone know what makes people like gene hoglan or other super quick feet? Heel and toe?/ heel and foot?
if u watch the lamb of god dvd, chris shows this great technique that he uses onstage for the ruin fill. its a heel kick first which then slides off and then the toes. this itself sounds like a double kick and its just one pedal. and it sounds brutal when hes got 2 pedals.
hehehe That is chris adlers impractical version of the heel toe technique. You can easily play a double on one leg with the ORIGINAL heel toe technique.
tony royster jr. he's the best drummer. he plays four bass shots in one count and he got selected as the world's fastest drummer THE WFD recently. he plays faster than joey jordison. and he's very good in moller technique.
