@jazz - dunno! @ronnie n alfonso - was black sabbath classic rock.....i thought it came under heavy metal n thrash n stuff!....i din know it was classic rock....else i would have added it!:think: yeah deep purple i wanted to add! ....hey BOSTON is a good classic band....whats my problem if you guyz have a problem with it?:
Black Sabbath is Classic Rock. A decade later, people labelled it Metal, Doom Metal, etc.. by all the sick record companies. Tony Iommi is as much a Bluesy player as Jimmy Page. Hear their guitar work properly and you will know it yourself.
@ronnie - yeah....i know tommi ionni rocks!.....his guitaring is awsome.......but i seriously had no idea BS was classic rock!......and where did I mention it is death metal? @vzard of oz - well, i wanted to know the fav ! so its single vote!: .....so next time
I didn't say that. I just said the recording companies gave different labels later for their convenience and also make it kinda cool. Black Sabbath used to call themselves a Pop band. Even Deep Purple used to call themselves a Pop band.
yeah.....beatles was a classic tooo......but then people started considering them pop!but thats a diff story!
Towards the late 60s Beatles were more a Psychedelic Rock band like Pink Floyd. Heavily influenced by the Hippy era and use / abuse of Psychedelic substances made them a totally different band in their later years. They are some seriously trippy songs from their Sgt. Pepper Loney Heart Club album.
