@cypher: Its a filtering software installed on your LAN server.. It blocks any sites with words like games, songs, etc.. as per configuration.... I remember.. we had such software in our college lab.... so anytime.. our URL had games word in it.. it wud block it.. and deny access... A cheap escape was using a URL cloaking... We used to register free URL Redirection.. and in that.. we use to cloak the original URL.. so that the filtering software gets bypassed REgards, Zooom..!!
yes..zooom you are right...it's a filtering software..acting as a firewall which blocks stuffs like games , songs , xxx by it's default configuration... :aggre: cypher @ , you can change your software configuration by allowing such stuffs...and can enjoy this f9 game....
@zoom...john....thanx guys....i got a better proxy now.....little slow but allows me to browse anythin i want.....
get sify broadband man...!!! :help: .. it's damm fast... if you wanna see the speed click on the pic.... :
@6String_addict: Lol... thats not the connection speed mate... Thats your adapter/LAN Card/NIC's Configured Mode to work in... To test... First of all Disconnect or Disable your Local Area Connection from Network Connections.... Go to>Control Panel>Network Connections>Local Area Connection>Properties>Configure>Advanced Tab>Highlight Link Speed/Duplex Mode and select the Value to be 10Full Mode... Now when you would connect/Enable, it would say connected @10MBPS.... So you see... that speed rating is totally useless... Your actual speed is setup by the ISP... And in India, our ISP's have 100MBPS lines... so its still way too far to have 100MBPS line to an home user.... We all get a share from that ISP's 100MBPS line... So dont go on the facts displayed by the Windows... Our LAN Adapter has the capacity to work in two different modes of Ethernet... 10MBPS or 100MBPS... Though this settings hardly matter in India....
