i wrote it today...thinking about...we give all happiness to everyone n some ppl dnt even bother to giv it back...but my heart expects it... this poem may be not too good...but it's fine for passing time EXPECTATIONS OF MY HEART Felicity and happiness is all we need Just like water needed by a seed A heart can be big enough to fit everyone in But it also wants a same heart to live in Almost 16 years have passed by The period wasn’t at all bleak and dry Spreading smiles and happiness was his duty Unbiased by anyone’s vileness or beauty And as usual the time went on and on His days finished at dusk and again started from dawn Unaware he was of what he actually wanted So people started taking him for granted Felicity he was giving to one and all Then he started expecting it in return- was the reason of his fall He began feeling finished, crushed and defected And in the end happiness was all he expected So tired he was of giving what he could not get And all old memories were never easy to forget Now he’s lying silently at the deepest place inside me Everyone’s well-being and everything fine he wants to see Beating like a bass he’s minding his duty of pumping blood Somewhere deep it still expects happiness’ flood Everything will be alright again he knows Waiting for a seraph he is, as through him my blood flows…. -Sukriti, 5/7/2010
