Epiphone Sg

    Friends I am an Intermediate guitar player and want to buy an electric guitar please suggest me whether epiphone sg special is good to buy or not

    what is your budget.. and which epiphone sg are you referring to?

    I don't know about the Epi SG, but the Gibson SG Special I had tried was awesome, I feel it would cut through the mix really well...and was great to play with...

    I was Asking for Epiphone sg special which cost me around 15k.

    A good guitar but not the best in that range IMHO...

    Try the Greg Bennett Torino TR3 (an SG copy, and a much better guitar IMO) and the ESP LTDs in that range and see which suits you the best...
    I had tried the Epiphone G400 SG (An improved version of the special) sometime back and comparing it with the Torino, the latter looks and sounds better...
