Electric guitar for a beginner.

Hello y'all. I want to buy an electric guitar. Can you suggest to me what to buy? I'm a beginner, you can say. I know my way around a few chords and i can read tabs pretty well. Can you give me the details about the prices, the model and what i should look for and stuff like that? It'll be a great help to me.
