Ore pagol , eta ki hoyechhe? i think you might want to start thinking from the note which you have in mind when starting on D major. This song has to essentially start on a minor chord (scale). I failed to comprehend the scale you had in mind or what notes the lead will have for ur chord sequence. I did not play anything after ur starting chord. I am sure it doesnt sound right when u sing along. So , here is the simple chord sequence starting Gm. for some reason, neither of the chords submitted sound right on my classical guitar. perhaps you need to be super skilled to play it right (doubt it though, the arrangements are quite simple), but if someone could revise the chords or even record themselves playing the chords above.. that'ld be very cool. i love this song and have come back to it time and again but i just can't make it sound right. help from the pros / gurus / anjan duttan fans would be appreciated. thx.
this is a pretty sad song and i think the C and D and all the chords posted above sounds kinda chirpy (happy)... so i may be very wrong but to my ears this sounds better. originally i didin't use a capo.. then i put a capo on 2nd fret. sounds ok. chords are relative to the capo. you can strum Bm.. and then lift the pinky (little finger) to get Bm7. when playing Em, drop the little finger on the 3rd fret, 2nd string to get Em7. its all about the feeling u get when playing. F#m and F#s are interchangeble here and there.
