I am planning to purchase a effect processor.
please suggest which processor would be a good chioce

    Korg AX1500
    Digitech RP 300 or 400
    Digitech GNX 1

I'm looking for a processor in price range 0f 10000-15000 bucks with good quality acoustic and distortion patch

chintan9 yay! i won the ipod!

DIgitech Rp 400 all the way(in all those options). Just go for it . It kicks ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Are u into metal?
coz if u are then I suggest Zoom Gfx 8. The best tones I have heard so far.
The amp sim is the best . Beats the gt6 with respect to sheer punch.

    The Gt6 is overrated!

Yeha GFX8 is good.. But i still like GNX 4..

dude u cannot compare GNX4 and Zoom gfx8.
GNx 4 is way better! its the best processor u can get.
If u have that much cash then go for gnx4, if u dont zoom gfx8 is perfect.

Have u guys tried out the pod live. Its hot for leads and solos .

my list of best processors(available in India)
    1)digitech gnx4
    2)pod live and digitech gnx3
    3)zoom gfx8 and boss gt6
4)boss gt5(stopped production- the gt6 is actually a step down to the GT5, but I dont like it too much.)
    5)Korg ax 1500 G

    My order would be
VG-88 V Guitar System Version 2 [The most expensive system at £899 pounds SRP. Best price still sells at £710 pounds.
U Forgot the Line6 Pod Pro XT. I'd put it in second place along with GNX4
    Third place would be GT6.

    death_metal_fan oh goody, it's a woody!

You might also want to look at the BOSS ME-30. Sells here in Canada for about $400 ($250 US). This is the effects processor my roommate has. It's pretty ok. You can get decent distortion, wah, whammy effects and some others for a total of about 16 effects. The adapter absolutely sucks though, it gave us hell when he first bought it. You might have to get it rewired or get a replacement.

I would never go for that. Aint too good.
Never played on one but have heard bad reviews from guys like warren mendonsa. He actually prefers the korg ax1500 to the boss me 30. sounds impossible but the effects are apparently way too bad.

    death_metal_fan oh goody, it's a woody!

I just checked the BOSS website and I found that the ME-30 is discontinued and the ME-50 replaces it. No idea how good it is though.

Line ^ is available in India..

Warren's Guitar Style does not go with a ME 30.. His review was the most contravercial.. LOL..

Wow, i'm looking to buy a processor as well. I thought of a Digitech RP200A, it's all i have money for right now. Can anyone give me some advice on it, or if not that, any suggestions for something in the same price bracket, thanks.

    korg and digitech

    I'm still confused

which one is better as far as sound quality is concerned
Korg 1500 or Digitech (in the same price range)

  17. chintan9

chintan9 yay! i won the ipod!

i had the same problem earlier. but when i heard the zoom gfx 8 I didnt think twice. (Ok enough of my Gfx8 worshipping.)

I would prefer korg for rhythm tones and that beautiful artificial feedbacker.
Digitech has good ampsim and wah.Distortion is too artificial for my liking.

    hey jayanth
tell me some good straps that I can buy. How much do those straps with locks cost?(in $)

    give me some options
I am looking for something sturdy , something black and something broad(slightly)

  19. jayanth

    jayanth <.: : Call Quits : :.>

Straps With Locks are anywhere between 300-500Rs..

Processors, I would go for Korg 1500..
    zoom - bad Service
    digitech - Not my Type
boss - Absolutely love it.. Can Afford it still not bought it..
Korg - Rules.. But no high end stability..

warren mendosa is the raddest dude in the country....he plays for a band called zero and good god i think hes better than christy of moksha
if i were you id buy the album called hook... just for a song called "spitleaf" ...its an instrumental ..hes layered acoustic and distorted electric for a most mind numbing song..
Warren .... If you read this man.... "your the best!!!"
