LOL If your ears are stilll in working condition (after taht little workout) check this thing: https://www.jazzbooks.com/miva/documents/handbook/21_ear_training.pdf and dont miss out checking this site: https://aebersold.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=JAZZ&Category_Code=_HANDBOOK I created a thread in Guitar tricks tips techniques etc forum. But I guess the MODs didnt like the thread and so didt publish it. I had mentioned this same Aebersold fellow there.
Hey dude ... play open e .. for some 8 notes then .. e on 7th fret on a string ... then e on 2 fret on d string the e on 9th fret on G string ... then e on 5th fret b string then open e on e string again ... So do this for all notes .. and keep listening .. withing some 1 week u'll know the entire fretboard and the sounds ......... It really helps ...

Hey thanks ... it really nice to know someone liked my suggestion ... Infact i found this way accidentaly .. it helped me ... Me and ronnie were playing with the metronome ... to help me get better timing sense ... So i just thought of it and liked the idea ... now i can hear few notes on any instrument and might be a ble to say wht the note is ...
David Lucas Burge is the name you are looking for Check out his "relative pitch" and "absolute pitch" ear training audio recordings i wont give you the link google it
its a good thing that even though uve just been playin for 2 months u are interested in developing ur ear more than just tryin to play chromatics at 200 bpm. one more advice i would give u is to sing out the chords and notes u play..when u want are practicin.. then sing out random melodies..and try to play it on the guitar.. this way u will be able to play what u are hearin in ur head.. that will ultimately help u to phrase and improvise.
