Abay yaar but vocals wise it is same.


On high pitches the voice doesnt carry enuff power.
Some places the voices hits bummer notes.

And d00d you have lowered the chorus part by one octave?

But for the first time english song, it is commendable.

@alpha .. actually I did have a tough time singing this song coz i'm not used to such themes(so its difficult initially to sing with the feel).. I'm tryin hard to improve muh vocals .. n get That PUNCH at some notes which u're talkin bout ..

The chorus part is in the same octave .. not lowered ..
n Boy .. It wasn't muh first ANGREZI cover : .. I've sung a few pops earlier ..

@alpha .. I've played the acoustic version of the song .. surprisingly .. the link which u gave me chorus is an octave higher .. But The acoustic version which i have he's sung in the same octave .. only the last chorus is an octave higher ..

Also the singing style is somewhat different in the link which u gave me n there's no whistlin n leads on Electric .. v happened to listen to different versions ..

fisrt of all all those who think this is a good change gimme good reps...it was my idea.

now for the comment.
guitars were nice...but yeah the vocals were a bit of a letdown. Im not saying it was a bad performance.....it was very well done...agreed that u might have got another version of the song which resulted with the chorus sung in a lower octave thing..yada yada. u got a good voice dude...but it didnt show enough passion (or power as alpha said).
anyway....the recording quality was very good....and it is always good to see a change.

overall quite impressive actually....its been quite long since u recorded so I wasnt expecting a good one.

next sugesstion....try Harvest by Opeth

@alpha .. The studio release which u linked me to is cool man .. the beats are amazing ..

Another thing guys .. I'm having a really tough time overlapping in audacity man .. The timings jz go helter skelter even though i overlap (leads,vocals etc) properly .. When i press the stop button .. the whole thing shifts n becomes total mess .. I was thinking of making a thread for this .. Is it the mic ? is it some setting damn I have to do many takes n a li'l editing always which is frustrating .. what shall i do ?

I always said Audacity is crap.

That problem is due to latency in your soundcard, which audacity doesnt corect for.
It is not your mistake or your hardware's mistake.


Get a pro-multi track recording software.

@alpha .. I have Adobe Audition 1.5 n Fruity Loops producer edition .. but I find it damn complicated to operate .. Audacity is very simple .. but i guess I'l have to trade off now..
