    I just released a completely free PDF version of my scales & arpeggios book, which may be of interest to some folks here:

    Besides a lot of other things it contains some material on Carnatic music that I got from an American book on the subject -- I'd be very interested to hear feedback from anyone who knows the melakatas first-hand.
