    I love the Lee Hooker's verion and it kicks a.ss . Didn't like the Yardbirds thingy much.

    of course, there'es nothing like the originals but you have to admit clapton and beck really took blues songs to a whole new level during their stints in the yardbirds

    by the way yardbirds have reformed with new guitarist and vocals and are now signed with steve vai's record company favored nations.

    the album has seven yardbirds classics featuring vai, satriani, :nw: jeff beck, steve lukather, slash :)help: ), brian may on guitars and seven new songs.

    just thought everyone should know......... :beer:

    ofcourse africa IS towards the WEST ...

    Not exactly. Blues has it's root from the Afro Americans in the Mississippi / Tennessee Region. It's derived from the R&B.

    it was not as if they wanted to be in americas ... so i will still call them africans ... now do whatever u wanna do :mad:

    and they sterted the R&B ... so it is their music ...

    I wish you wouldn't make statements like these. You've basically insinuated that an entire genre of music should be excluded from the categories of subtlety and depth.



    I've always listened to a lot of blue....*always meaning the last 3 years*


    I don't like listing particular artists since I find it difficult to categorize my music...hence my hate for genres and my lack of contribution in this forum.
