So all you testament fans... which album is the best to get into this band?? I heard the guitarists and the bassists kick ass. Any recommendations??
The Ritual from me too....Scolnick :nw: :nw: chk our Low, Live at Filmore nd The Gathering too....they feature James Murphy :nw: since he has worked with bands like Death and Obituary these albums might appeal to you.
thats true...but Murphy is also pretty good...esp on Low...Trail of Tears...badass solo... hail TestAmenT :nw: :nw:
Alex Skolnick and James Murphy will always be my favorite guitarists of all time. Shs, the band's sound seemed to always change with each album. I reccomend you check out the albums: -Live At the Fillmore (Murphy has a go at the more classic Testament material and of course, just kicked ass!) -The New Order (a thrash metal classic! Also from the Skolnick era) -The Gathering (Not much solos, but the riffing is just amazing) -First Strike Still Deadly (beefed up versions of classic songs) -Low

My favourite is "The New Order". Though my favourite testament song happens to be 'Return to serenity'. And Skolnick is amazing.
