disabling condensation of multiple subsequest spaces

Moderators, is there a way to disable the feature of condesation
of subsequent spaces into one. It messes up with the post when
one writes notes in a line below the lyrics. Notes all get collected
towards the beginning of the line and lose their correlation with
the lyrics in the line above it.

The simplest thing to do is enclose your post in the 'code' tags:

Regular display:

It's on a day like today

The whole world could change

CODEd display (enclosed in [_code_] & [_/code_] - remove these underscores b/w the brackets and code):

Alternatively, you can even use the 'font' tags and choose a mono-spaced font such as Courier New.
