hi all, my first thread here.. i currently own a zoom 606 processor, which in my opinion is quite crap... i knw zoom gfx 8 and digitech rp 300 are two different things but given the choice, which one should i buy and why??? im pretty hesitant with the gfx-8 cos i did not like zoom 606.. any comments wud greatly be appreciated.. thanks also, these are the only 2 processors currently in stock.. other than tht there's some v-amp model..
Not much idea, Chintan knows more about Zoom gfx8, coz he has it btw: Behringer Vamp2 is also known to be very good.
i owned a rp300 it was pretty solid, except that dust used to collect between the footswitch and the fs would stop functioning,no other problems besides that.the tones on the rp sound more realistic than the zoom .however wah is not that realistic.do not go in for the zoom most of the zooms i tried sounded crap..wait for sometime and check out the rp250/350 -got usb connectivity and lots more features
newer is not ALWAYS better but in this case its MUCH better... 1.Built in tube pre-amp 2.Free Cubase LE 3.Computer Interface(donno abt GFX8) 4.Looks futuristic 5.Got a nice stomp buttons....gives the feel of a stompbox So i guess if u were going to go for the GFX-8 its better to go for G7..... www.bajaao.com ETA : Friday Price : 16-17 Refer Shreyas while buying...that guy needs to know how nice i am
Sorry for the double post...but can someone tell me why i have only 0.00 in my bank and not millions lol...not that it matters...but why...why..why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1. Built-in tube pre-amp my ass. Its a marketing gimmick. There is no overdriving gain stage involving that tube. It does nothign more than very slight compression and tone coloring. 2. Cubase is great. 3. I think GFX also has comp interface. 4. Lol, agreed looks do matter in gigs. 5. I am a sucker for this. I hate boss pedals becuase they don't have those button like swithces
