Digitech is not wht i would suggest to anyone. It's too ****in digital!!
You have to tweak it a lot.
RP250 is a very nice processor but i feel is too digital. Have to tweak a lot! Good to sound like MichaelAngelo Batio.
    8 on 10

    RP255, never used it

    Zoom G2.1u:
Great buy! Looks nice, is more durable. Quality of sound is great once you have tweaked it properly. Else default factory settings suck! ZNR (Noise gates) are ****in awesome!
    Easy Priced, n would give it a 9 or a 9.2 mayB

If you play very technical than Digitech or for fun go for Zoom!!

ppl criticize zoom, but it's actually better after tweaks(Personal preference)

Zoom has a better metal sound than digitech. For everything else RP score overs zoom.

    Digitech RP250:-
    1) quality of sound :- too digital
    2) Price :- not value for money
    3) features :- visit bajaao keeping in mind the quality of sound..
    4) Rating:- 6 out of 10

    Digitech Rp255 never tried it

    Zoom g2.1u
    1) Quality of sound :- Fine...tweak around a little bit you will get your sound
    2) Price:- 9.5 k.............my friend bought it for 7.5k from Singapore...
    3) features :- expression pedal is good, its pretty solid but not built like a tank so too much stoping can lead it to an early grave.....
    4) Ratings :- 8 out of 10

    Footnote :- try korg Ax1500g.........

Does Digitech RP 250 have looper?

    Hey guys!!

I saw some videos on youtube of simultaneously playing the solo with the rhythm in Digitech RP 250 and it was recorded just like two guys are playing, one with the rhythm and other the solo. My question is, Is it possible to 1st start the drum beats, record it, then play the rhythm, record it and then play the solo? Will all these sounds come up simultaneously?

In zoom 707IIG you had a loop sampler, but in g2 you dont.

You can record in Nuendo, or Cubase using your usb device (in zoom g2.1u) and get what you want

    else buy a loop sampler
