Dharmatmas Pizza Toppings!

ahem..
so i finally decide to post somethin in the lessons forum..
The stuff i post here are mine,so look for original licks,exercises..which u probably wont find elsewhere.If some licks are familiar or sound familiar its purely co-incidence,afterall there are only 12 notes.heh.

Loads of exercises that ive come across only have mindless finger exercises..with little thought given towards melodic content.

Hopefully ill be able to cover some ground on that aspect.
play the stuff i post S-L-O-W-L-Y ..in the beginning.Listen to the melody..try and open ur ears...then work on it. with a metronome...dont just play the notes like some random scale u play just for "f**ks sake.

ok .enough of my ranting.
The tabs i post will be for random levels..so as not to make ppl play it with a prenotioned mindset..

play it slowly..there are some jumps involved..and string skippin.
its a decent right hand work out.....u will get the hang of it.


i will try and post a clip soon.

 

This may sound funny,... but nee wys,... could u try to indicate some how, which fingers r to be used while tabbin on the frets. I tend to use 2 alternate fingers all the time.

Could be of help to me.

the numbers in the brackets are the fingerings i use.hope it helps.

i will record a clip..tomm..for ppl to get a fair idea of how i play it.till then use this lick and mess around with the notes..u are bound to come up with somethin that sounds diff from this.

Cool , nice work here Jared. I have to say i cudnt figure out the 3rd one though, dint get teh melody..i guess these wud work perfectly with sounds samples if possible.

I was working on the 1st one and thought id change 1 note...sounded better to me:
The final note F ...id rather play D to get that classical feel.

On the whole..nice work dude.!

hmm....i've already told U my opinions ....

this is for beginners ....if any1 wants 2 build up their speed and accuracy on hitting notes....do this thing for a month....

 

Seriously I was expecting some Pizza Toppings. Today evening I am supposed make Pizza, so I was kinda excited seeing the name of the thread. Kinda disappointed. I cannot shred my guitar and use it as pizza toppings :annoyed: .
