Desperately looking for a guitar teacher in Kolkata.

Ami ektu problem e pore gechi: ... ar ei samoy tomra chara amake help korar ar keu nei. Puro galpo ta khule bolchi. Tarpor ekta kichu suggest koro.

Amar guitar bajanor experience khub beshi noy.... near about 5 years. Kintu ami guitar sikhechi just for 3 months. Tarpor theke nijei bajai. Originally I am
from Siliguri. Kintu akhon chaakri korte kolkatay. Kolkatay ashar pore vebechilam abar guitar sekha shuru korbo. Amyt da er sathe contact korlam. Kintu time -e millo na.:annoyed: Ami kolkatay aar kauke chinio na je tader help nebo. The only one way out is you!!. So please help me to find a good teacher for me.

I have only one constraint from my side and that is, as I am employed , I can only go to the teacher on Saturday and Sunday.
By the way, I am staying in Saltlake.:

Thanx for the complement, kintu aami mainly beginer der sekhai. Tao only aamar bondhu der. Ei June mash sekhe professionaly sekhate suru korbo bhabchhi. Kintu 5 bochhor baajano kono guitarist ke sekhate paarbo bole mone hoy na. Sayan ke try korte paarish, his knowledge is really great.

I know Amyt da is best!!!. As far as I know, he teaches two days in a week - wednesday & sunday. Sunday batch is FULL now. And I have my office on wedness day. And I don't see any other way out here. More over his Sunday's batch is really for the advanced guitarists with minimum 6/7 years of formal guitar experience. I don't have that kinda formal training still now.

And that is actually what I am looking for --- a good formal training in guitar. I don't want to experiment with this anymore. I have killed a lot of time with out much advancement. So, this time I am very serious about learning it.

But having said all these, I still wonder that except Amyt da, we don't have any other option. Ato baro kolkata sahore Amyt dar maton na holeo onar kacha kachi valo kono teacher ki nei??

yes, u can try out Tukida. If u r interested in Tukida, u can PM me, I'll give u his no.
And if u r looking for that kind of formal training, u can directly go to Calcutta School of Music, and do a course there.
U can also try out Sumit Ramachand

 

Calcutta school of music is a good suggestion. Or you can try Tarang in Saltlake. Though far inferior to calcutta school of music, Tarang also provides certified courses. It is in BE block. Worth a try.

 

I suggest Rishav da. O sealda te sekhai mone hoy. Interested hole number jogar kore dite pari.

CSM is good if you want to learn classical guitar. tarang, on the other hand, teaches rock guitar.
