Hello, Does anyone know the recent price of Yamaha Pacifica 112 or 012 electric guitar? I checked the sticky topic abt the prices at Furtados in Mumbai, but they have not been updated since 2005... So any ideas? Pardon my ignorance, does one have to buy a amp separately or it is included with the guitar? And whats the price of a decent cheap amp
bajaao lists a 112 as 13.6k and a laney lx12 as 2.8k, roland microcube as 6k I will be going to furtados on tuesday do get their store prices
you get an amp with the guitar only in starter packs......but in those packs all the gear sucks........
012 is available for 11.1k 112 is out of stock, will take atleast a month for new ones to arrive roland microcube priced at 5.7k
i don't really like onstage. they're very very not reliable. they took 4 months to get my grg. but to take revenge i bought it from furtados rather than onstage. the only thing i bought from them was a line 6 spider iii 15 amp. pretty decent amp, but i needed a footswitch, so i had to buy pedals. and i am chaining my single fx's to have a decent pedalboard. anyways, you own any fx's?
I currently bum effects from my pals when I need em... No effects of my own besides the amp distortion... Don't feel much need for them right now but I'll have to get some soon enough, I guess.
Actually, there's two models to 112. The 112J is about 13 to 15k depending on the store. Second one is the 112V, which will cost you anywhere in the range of 18k(Music square, official yamaha showroom) to 24k(any other music shop). There's another 2-3 more models of 112, but the above two are the most popular ones. AFAIR, onstage don't do yamaha guitars. Plus, the place wasn't very welcoming either the last time i went there. It's my personal opinion though. OT: It's always funny visiting Bharat music house down the same road as onstage and music square. The sardarji always try to sell something really crappy by making it sound the best ever made in the world. I once went there enquiring about tube amp, instead he tried selling me some 100 watts amp. "Saarji, tube amp kya karoge, ye le lo na, sau watt hai, sabse bhadiya, mast chalega". I was laughing my backside off.
I think their marketing is good or something... Many noobs seem to be buying from there based on recommendations from cunty guitar teachers. I wonder if they send kickbacks to guitar teachers for screwing their students and making them buy from Bharat. Wouldn't put it past them. And that Sardar who sits there is the absolute worst... Somehow that guy has a really greasy air about him... Never ever makes the customer feel comfortable, just makes you feel like he's doing you a favour by showing you any products at all. When you ask him to see another guitar he almost moans with agony, His attitude is: "Oh my god, why are you torturing me so much just to buy a guitar?"
