my loyalties lie with the country i live in .. who cares for the gf .. she will end up at 9 berry road dudley west midlands.... i.e with me very soon any way
i was kidding dude... yup i agree the game was good...pretty close.....if smith's wicket was gone earlier then it would have made a difference. yuvraj played well...glad he had to struggle for his 100...
I was watching the local bengali channel....Star Ananda. It seems that all of Calcutta believes that the Indians lost this match because of the absence of Saurav Ganguly in the side. So does anyone think he's coming back anytime soon?
^^i belive that!! he wld be back one day!! u shd have read arjuna ranatungas column-India she learn to respect its heroes....
Loyalties I thought that too when I was young and naieve. 40 years in this country and I can even smell thier racism & hypocracy Hope you learn it too, in quick time son.
racism yes ... hypocracy yes .. being told off by an old woman in a bus .. "dont sit with me if you have a bomb in that bag" .. YES! .. getting stares when going out for jumma wearing shalwar kurta .. yes ... being called a browny and a paki .. yes .. but resent england? no ..naive ... maybe .. traitor .. no ..
hahahahahahahaha I repeat hahahahahahahahaha apart from the hilarity of the post, what a pleasant coincidence that waleed London just happened to drop by on the day that this issue came up....
See the profile - I am just an old hippy. The world has been goin downhill since the sixties maaaaan. Especailly the Indian music. Where are the vibrant melodies, poetry and art? Gota admit though I am happy to see so many asians pickin up the axe. Hope I can help you kids cos there a lot of untapped talent out there and asians need to make an impression on western music. Too late for me.
whoaaaaa.....*shocked* ur close to 50 man.... i agree with the indian music going downhill thing...amen to that there is plenty of talent but most of it is wasted.... just wondering...how long hav u been playing the guitar??
Son you should know your allegance should only be to the almighty. Don't fall for the 'Because you criticise you are a traitor' trick. It's as old as the hills. I criticise Pakistan because I seek to change/improve the country of my birth. Does that make me a traitor?
of course ... my fidelity lies with him who made me .. no doubt about that .. criticism ... and resentment .. are two totally different things .. criticism is due .. and i think is an integral factor for development of a nation .. but resentment and turning a cold face to your surrounding and refusing to be loyal to the nation who has fed and you and gave you shelter -no matter how much you yourslef have to do with what you are today- in my view is totally dis-loyal and un acceptable .. i havent forgotten pakistan .. it will forever hold a special place inside me .. but at the moment i consider england my second home .. maybe when i grow up and see from a mature eye .. i might change my views ... and... no it doesnt make you a traitor it shows that you care .. and i agree with you ... rock on sir
