personaly i feel Creed was musically much better than most of the grunge bands ... and Alter Bridge is even better ...
@nik - they are extremely pop. Basically imagine a guy singing britney spears songs and instead of having dancers in the videos they dance with animated guitars which are choreographed by an evil robot that wants to take over the world but can't do so because it has no arms to hold a gun.

Lol that was kinda cool and true ... but i guess u dont like chordie style of guitar playing ... u more into riffy thing ... u can say they are more rock than bon jovi ... more pop than most of the grunge bands ... i say they were pop-grunge ... somewhat like Bush (again a nice band which is no more) ... but i stick to my guns that they were musically superior ... most of the grunge just made noise ...
Of course they are pop. Why else do you think that they played at woodstock. woodstock is purely for pop acts only. Thats why they have the best equipment to help all artists lipsync perfectly.

Actually creed are both death metal and pop. They are DEATHPOP. That is why they sing in skirts while dancing about how the world totally sucks because of hypocrites and wars and stuff and how their BABY can hug them and kiss them and make it all better.

i dont like listening to heavy metal like britney spears and all. i listen only to classical carnatic music like boy george and blondie and bananarama. my fav is the bangles. they ROCK!!!!

@prathamesh - i have listened to what if, bullets and stuff.they are no where close to death metal and they arent!death metal is more heavier than these songs too!did u christen yourself that creed is death metal?!im a gr8 creed fan but not alter bridge!and by the way, i agree with what real illusions said - woodstock was mainly for pop acts, it also included pop rock as well. pop = popular and mind that pop isnt = britney, shakira only!
