dun ask ME, man! i kno nothin abt which guitar plays wat! i juz think ALL guitars look beautiful.. n a few like dese look damnd kewl.. n a few like da 1s u posted, look real sexy! i juz got started wid guitarin.

thats called a tremolo arm or a vibrato, to bend the strings thru the neck where they r attached.

 

y wud u wan 2 bend da strings thru da neck?? xplain it 2 me like i kno nothin.. (coz i REALLY kno nothin!!! )

well, u of course can bend the strings wit ur fingers but the rod can do it more and also easily. and then u can bend the strings down to losen them witout losin the tuning. theres a lot many things, even i'm learnin to use my floyd rose properly .

hmmmm.... alrite... n mind tellin me wat a floyd rose is? iv seen dat talk in da forums so many bludy times. guez il hafta start anoder thread in da beginner's forum... :think:

 

a floyd rose is a two way tremolo which can bend both up n down. it also has locking keys (at the top of the neck where meets the head) which does not allow the guitar to go out of tune. its a fundoo thing
