contemporary VS classic

Hey People!!! How many of you think that today's english music (contemporary) is not as legendary as the classics of the period betwen 1960s and early 1990s...???

 

Not me.

i dont compare music.... i worship it.... anything that sounds good is worthy of respect

 

i like classic stuff

Besides, the phenomena is that, only the goodies out of past are remembered now.

No one talks about the crap stuff from that era.

 

Wouldn't it depend on personal taste? What, then, is the point of a show of hands?

 

Legends are always recognized and respected well after they've gone.

 

I like both, leaning more towards the post 90's music.

 

Well, even I think the same. Today's music is tomorrow's classic. Even in this contemporary period, we have legendary music like the music by Westlife; Bonjovi and Santana still rocks; Blue's hiphop; Eminem, 50 cent, etc.
