is there only one person who likes classic rock and the 70s/80s music over here?? :shock: hmm..ok i have to believe that! it may seem corny but yes i love the music of those long haired men who used to jive along wid their guitars, who now r old enuf to be my grampas..lol there r many artists, but the ones i like are so so so many>> Journey, P.Floyd, B.Springsteen, Queen, Van halen, Tears for Fears, A-ha, ac/dc, crash test dummies, crowded house, def leppard, cutting crew, don henley, inxs, mike&mechanics..ah cant recall all the names and some one hit wonders like mr. mister, paul young, mr. big, jefferson starship, the cars! those were the days...though i wasnt born in that era but i developed liking for such songs as i used to overhear my brothers listening to em croon along..and il always love this era's music..will add later if sumthing comes to mind...but seriously guys, m shocked that only one person has replied!..what a disaster, a guitarist not liking this kinda music..c'mon guys..add sumthing

How so? Their final studio album, Abbey Road was recorded in 1969. Even the Let It Be album although released in May 1970, was recorded in January, 1969.
He was probably talking about influence... The term 'classic rock' never existed to me. But if you ask for my fav hard rock band it has to be Deep Purple.
well wat i think is that the 70s 80s era was the best...........now is the little computerised era...............well startin with aerosmith,ac/dc,van halen,GUns and roses(although they were prevalent in late 80s and early 90s)Bon Jovi,Bryan adams,Queen,Bee Gees,am i forgettin any1 well def leppard of course,,,,,,,,,,,,,,if i forget any1 plzzzzzzzzzzzzz tell i still like them and i think that was the era big concerts and wat not.......ph yeah
Suggest more bands (underrated or underground..) BTW....I checked out Blue Oyster cult they are cool peace:rock:
