QUIT SMOKING... therz a warning written on the ciggarete packs here in pakistan. it goes like this...'tambako noshi sehat ke liye muzr hai...wazaarte sehat...hakoomat-i-pakistan'...'smoking is injurious to health...Ministry of Health-Goverment of Pakistan'...but this doesnt stop people from smoking.

p.S the urdu warning must seem to b completely alien to some people who dont understand urdu...

Nope, actually I haven't even heard of Pearl Jam touring. I don't like Pearl Jam anyway so there's not a hope in hell that I'll spend money to see them, but I am going for Judas Priest this June. :nw:

well if its u who wants to quit smoking then it will b easier
my best friend was a heavy smoker n hopefully with some goodwill he has reduced his
smoking to only max two fags per day(actually he feared of becoming impotent lolz though its true
that smoking decreases ur potency)

i think the advice dr saurubh gave r good
try to look for some nicotine chewing gums
as u know its nicotine which cause the addiction

with those cgums u will get rid of smoking ie u wont feel the need
of taking puffs
but be careful the cgums will not decrease ur crave for nicotine

so gradually u must try to resist the withdrawal symptoms u wil get ie
the cravings

i reccom u to try to divert ur mind into smthing else when u feel like smoking.......

its u n only u who can make u kick that habit.........

i am 28 , i smoke from last 10 yrs not a heavy smoker but say abt 6 / 7 sticks a day , i use to smoke a lot when in college but now have reduced , i smoke 1 / 2 sticks in the morn and about 4 / 5 in the evenings...

brand : gold flake when in was in college
now i live on benson and hedges ...

i ve never though abt quiting it .... lets see if that day will come when i quit smokin ....

strated before 2 yrs and ,
actually i smoke regularly 10 cigrattes a day, i cannot stand without that , once there is an urge to smoke , its difficult to spent single minute without that. but one thing i would like to share is that whenever i feel free or without work i want to smoke , i cannot smoke whenever in tension. addicted to classic milds, or wills navy cut,
cursing to the easily availability of cigrattes.
once bhaiya said "why don't you quit smoking"
i told "several times i think to quit but for thining i need to smoke"

well well well.. ciggy... used to hate it always... but a yr back... i was going to start this habit... but i just couldn't continue it... coz never found any "Shanti" by smoking...:... well.. u guyz can think me as nerd now... cuz gonna say something... : My mom was used to tell me one thing always that whatever i do in life if that doesnt give me any pleasure i never should do that by force...! and thats the way i walk always... and still i m a non-smoker... and happy with it... ... i don't know what ppl find by smoking... what's in there... :think: ... i had smoked like a month... but never found anything that can make sense... i think most of the ppl smokes just for showing... smartness...or mood... ... well.. everybody knows that smoking isn't good for health as well as ur lips : u know what i mean...... so... quit smoking...!
any smoker gonna spank me for this...!? :think:
