    gr8 job man..i remember ..dis wz da fst song which i learnt on my guitar..such a gud song ..i luv playin it.....
    i want chords of some other songs..can u help me dude..
    i want da chords of followin songs...i hav been postin dem in da subimt secn bt none of dem replied..hope to get ur help..

    hey there..

    dude, i must say this 1st. i love yr stuff, keep up d good work.

    btw, i'm performin this song on my dad's 50th b'day in 5 days. i was hopin tht mayb u could shine some light on one part here.

    wen the female sings "bahaar banke aaoon kabhi tumhari duniya mein guzar na jaaye yeh din...." wat r d chords?

    Excellent chords man, it really sounds great!
    But there is a little thing you forgot to mention i guess, the lines below are being sung twice in the beginning and the second time the chords of the last line is different:
    Am-----------------------G------------
    Chura liya hai tum ne jo dil ko

    Am-----------------------E-----E7-----
    Nazar nahi chura na sa nam

    Am----------------------G-------------
    Badal ke meri tum zinda gaani

    Am--------------------------E---------
    Kahin badal na jaaa naa sa nam

    This is the chord progression the second time:

    Am-----------------------G------------
    Chura liya hai tum ne jo dil ko

    Am-----------------------E-----E7-----
    Nazar nahi chura na sa nam

    Am----------------------G-------------
    Badal ke meri tum zinda gaani

    Am-----------------------------------
    Kahin badal na jaaa naa sa nam


    These lines are coming back after the Antara and the chord progression is also the same as i mentioned above!
    After the last Antara (M.Rafi), the lines are just as you mentioned and the last lines are just like this:

    Am-----------------------G------------
    Chura liya hai tum ne jo dil ko

    Am---------------------------------
    Nazar nahi chura na sa nam

    Am-----------------------------------
    Hmmm Hmm Hmm Hmmmmmm (4x)

    yaar.... the first time - Kahin Badal Na Jaan ends in E
    and then depoending on the interlude u obviously should not play the E and stick to sustaining Am...
    but youre right I guess I should have mentioned it clearly so that beginners don't get confused and play something wrong....

    It's rather inconvenient but tabs can indicate timing:

    W - whole
    H - half
    Q - quarter
    E - 8th
    S - 16th
    . - note dotted

    Timing is VERY rarely used in writing common guitar tab.

    | represents end of a bar, while || represents end of musical piece. Use |: and :| for repeats. If you don't see any fret indicated below a timing, rest that much.

    Timing is useful only when you really want to provide a clear description of the strumming pattern:

    my idea of posting on IIGT is a li'll bit different
    though i post accurate notes and chords
    i leave out timing and other nuances of playing to the person reading it.

    My funda is that you better listen to the song and try to figure out something atleast
    u have the notes and chords in front of you, it will be ideal to listen to the song and try your own bit at atleast placing the notes and chords properly.

    ... and strumming patterns .... written strumming patterns with timings (though I have some posts on those too) the person really needs to listen to the song and figure out strumming patters for himself especially in Hindi songs, because what is played in the song may not be usefull when youre playing solo, and most of the times you dont even listen to a strumming in old songs :)

    Bottom line: USE IGT POSTS as REFERENCES, but always use your EAR to figure out the song!!!

    Yes thats why i replied cause i also think the beginners will play something wrong!
    As you already said "the first time - Kahin Badal Na Jaan ends in E", i think you meant the E chord and it ends in G# note, the second time that line stays in the Am chord as it ends in the A note and in my opinion this isn't because of the interlude but just because that line is being sung different from the first one!
    It is possible the music director changed this line just because of the interlude, but thats something else, something different!!!

    But man, as i already said, these are the best chords i've seen for this song, i'm not trying to correct your chords cause the are very good (so please don't get me wrong), this is just an addition you forgot i guess!
