STEP 4 - TIMING
#################

This is one thing that a TAB notation can never tell you.
That is, how long to wait between two notes, does a note sustain or does a note mute?
For this, you have to first hear the song properly, memorise the tune in your head and then use the TAB as a GUIDE to help you with the right notes, TABS do not tell you TIME

First learn your basics, understand what a guitar is, understand theory of music, understand that learning the guitar is NOT EQUAL to learning a song.

SO stop staring at this, and go LEARN

Great work Bandbaja.
This is the first song which I learnt on guitar. If I remember correctly it took me almost a month to be able to play it smoothly and its still the most favourite among hindi songs. Amazingly the way I play seems almost identical to your notes)

Jekyll - Yes this song is sung by Asha & Rafi. I was referring to the GUITAR being PLAYED by Bhupinder. Very few people know that he was a very good acoustic guitar player too!!! And if you ask me, Bhupinder's best song is Dil Dhoondta Hai (in fact better than the solo, the duet with Lata is a classic) by Madan Mohan.

Prog_man - Am damn sorry, I dont have the right equipment to record stuff as of now, also the laziness factor creeps in during these sessions. Will try to do it someday though. Oh and yes, am not a good player, just an average clumsy guitarist
