Hi everybody,
This is my second posting of chords. I m pretty disappointed that nobody replied on my first post. But I m putting efforts and here are the chords figured out by me (there may be a lots of mistakes so plz see how these chords sound and plz post the corrections) :

Desperately awaiting feedback.(BANDBAAJA , SOUMAN and VINI - I have become a fan of urs and it will be grt if u give me feedback on this and my previous post.Atleast it will tell me how am I going).

 

this doesnt seem to be the original scale..it sounds lower.try playing along with the song and you'll get to know clearly..the inharmony..
but a good effort!..keep practising and playing

ps- im not a great..not even a good guitarist..as compared to souman or bandbaaja..i wonder what made u a fan...but anyways..i replied whatever i felt would be correct

 

hi bathroom singer,
i agree with vini, the scale is low.
your G and C are perfect, Am is not going well.
frankly speaking i have to hear the song, to tell you the chords.
i will download it and then can come up with the chords.
till then a very good effort, this is not a very easy song.

moreover i checked your previuos post also,when you have decided the key you do not go out of the chords of a key which many beginners do like playing Fm in G scale etc.(just taking an example).

good going,i am sure you would become a good guitarist soon.

Thank you very much for giving me feedback and telling my flaws. I promise I will keep practising and coming up with new chords.
I will listen the devdas song again and try some other chord which fits in the scale. Your replies have boosted my confidence.

To Vini--- I think that you are a pretty good guitarist as is evident from ur postings on this site.But it's more of ur grt behaviour and support to newbies as a wonderful moderator which has made me ur fan (I have seen many of ur posts).

 

Hi, bathroomsinger, I think you got it totally wrong mate (including the G and C).
The song is in a different scale, different mode, different raag.
forg eg after all the wierdness in the intro, it settles into F major scale,

and first line goes like this:

F--------------Am---
Woh chand jaisi ladki

--F--------E-----F----
is dil pe cha rahi hai

Listen to it again, and revise your post.

I agree that Am is not sounding well but acc. to me G and C are going well. I m actually not getting any perfect substitute for Am. Ur starting looks nice and sounds quite correct. It will be grt if u post the whole song as it will make things clear abt accuracy.

To Vini :
Did u find any substitute for Am? I m not able to replace it with anything.

To Himanshu :

finally i got the MP3 and listened to it.
paati is correct about the F major key.
so i am posting my version as i hear.

rest of the song is on the same line.
you can also play Am instead of Fmaj7,i included this as it sounds cool here to me,you can otherwise use Am.

modified chords

Hello everyone, this is my first post, so give me a break...

I think some of the remaining chords can go as follows,

Bachpan ki, uski aadat,

Tadpaa rahi hain yaadein,
.....Am..............Fmaj7......E.....................C7.....F..
Ho jaaona na ho jaaon, ho jaaona, na main paa....gal

I strum only the first 3 or 4 strings of the E chord, and i tried the first three strings of the Esus2 (open version) ( which is, 0 2 4 4 0 0 ), but i think a replacement is needed for the E.

The first 4 strings of the C7 sound good followed by the F (where C7 is, x 3 2 3 1 0 ).

Please let me know if there are any mistakes, and how i can modify these chords.
