Looks well worked out one with scale details and all. I haven't heard the song, I can't try. searched Musicindia :-( Those who have heard the song plz try the chords.

    But why e-7-9 in

not given on B string:think: Won't it minimize finger movements and avoid a 'long jump' from 9 to 16?

Pal har pal - lage raho munna bhai intro on acoustic

finally I found the audio on raaga. Such a lovely song!!!

    great work vini!!

I have doubt about nineth(9) note and after above

here's my version intro video / audio on youtube based on raaga.com audio.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sy4diXKVXdM (includes slow version)

    note:
    a=fret 10, b=fret 11 and so on
(ududu) = fast up down picking, like trill

    Code:
    E-----------------------------------------------------------------------
    A-----------------------------------------------------------------------
    D-----------------------------------------------------------------------
    G-----------------------------------------------------------------------
    B--c-e-----------------------------e------------------------------------
    e------g-e(ududu)-g-e(ududu)-g-e-c---e-c(ududu)-e-c(ududu)-e-c(ududu)--- fade

i found the chords posted by someone earlier in this forum.
both look similar and good. want to try both later.

    @jozko
yes by using another string, it will get easier to play(less moving of fingers), but the note would sound more thick obviously, which is not so in song..anyways, wouldnt hurt to try that too

so guys u can use B-12 in place of E-7 and B-14 in place of E-9.
but you'll have trouble playing these, if u have a 12 fretted guitar, so u can stick to E string only!

    thx jimmy_cool

thick sound - I didn't knew that before. thx for that info. I thought they sounded more or less same and difference was only like when u hit same string on two different guitars. I mean tonal (right word?) quality. My ears can't make out the difference :-(

stick to e only?? in ur posting u have given notes on fret 14 and even 16 of e string. It can be played on 12 fretted ones?

Is the original music on mandolin? when the music starts i also hear picking of two strings. anyone can say it is mandolin? how much does a cheap mandolin cost?

^lol.."twelve fretted guitar" doesnt mean it has only 12 "playable" frets..ok wait here is a pic>>
    https://www.borgesguitars.com/images/model_000-12_350x535.jpg

    what is thickness?
play 5th fret of bottom E string and then play 5th/A string open...do u find any difference? ofcourse both r playing same note i.e, "A"..but if u cant find any diff. then clean d wax from ur ears. ;)

    ..wot else?

oh is that so? thx for the pic i have a similar one. it is called '12 fretted one"? ok play on e alone then. it is not difficult trying higher frets than leaping. In anycase uhave to play 16 on e. Of course cutaway is better though

yes I already wrote i can't find difference than the kind i mentioned (i chk ears and u chk eyes? :)). I also appreciate teh fact that u made that point of thick sound. something i learned today but i am unable to differentiate. my fault. no offense. peace

arre dhakkan. if u can tab out sounds and strummin patterns u shud know diff between sweet/sharp and thick/thin sounds.

Play the open 5th string near the sound hole and 1 nearer the fretboard..find the diff?

    what is 'dhakkan' arnold bro?
i can feel differences when i play a string at different points (near sound hole away from sound hole etc) and also when i play a string with a pick or with just thumb etc. But honestly i can't differentiate in anyway if I play e at 7th and B at 12th. honestly.

Also i do feel difference when i play the tune according to tabs above and when i listen to OST. That's why i asked if it is mandolin type instrument used in OST.

The kind of differences i am talking of are what I think as tonal (I donno correct word). I can't differentiate it in the particular case (e & B) I mentioned. Not yet. I need sharper ears :-(
