Was tabbing this beautiful song from Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. One wonders why Anand-Milind could never reproduce such quality in their other albums! Here are the chords: [Gm] Ae mere [Eb] humsafar [Bb] Ik zara [F] intezaar [F] Sun sadayi, [F] de rahi hai [Eb] manzil pyar [Gm] ki Repeat the above lines [Gm] Ab hai judai ka [F] mausam [F] Do pal ka [Gm] mehmaan [Gm] Kaise naa jaayega [F] andhera [F] Kyun na thamega [Gm] toofan [G] Kaise naa [C] milegi [Bb] [Eb] manzil pyaar ki [Gm] Repeat ... May the bouquets flow and brickbats blow! : - Raj.
Hey Jay. I posted on the "Bulla Ki Jaana String", you might've not read it. Well Citizen, if you could do me a favour and tell me the Chord positions for Rabbi's "Tere Bin", i mean what position is E, A and B supposed to be played. It's not open chords, that I'm sure. Hook me up bro, it's my wedding afterall.(ref. the other post on "bulla")
dude next time post a thread saying REQ:tere bin , so that ppl will notice if u post for some other song in some other songs thread.. odds r u will get ignored. I havent tried learning that song tere bin till me. let me try. enough offtopic stuff for this thread. tnx.
Bhavna Well this may be a trifle off-topic, but I was actually named only after I turned 2. And Mom named me Raj coz she became quite crazy about Aamir after seeing QSQT! : - Raj.
Bandbaaja, thanks! And amazing signature, loved it! Up next, will post the right chords of Pal. There are 100s of versions on this site. I'll put up mine with the different finger positions of the chords, coz different chords are played in different ways in this song. Atleast, according to the version I deduced :-D - Raj.
cool good job. one comment on the chords.. .. its not D# its Eb. scale of Gm would be G A Bb C D Eb F G U cannot have D and D# in the same diatonic scale.
Er ... Jay, I guess I'll need some explanation. Am not too good at theory. Aren't D# and Eb the same note? Like A# and Bb? Or G# and Ab? Confused, : - Raj.
u cant have the same letter name twice in the same scale ..lol....wohoo...ive learned something from reading so much on the theory
righto.. me 2 read in da theory.. hi nikamma.. if u need da theory.. pm me.. i'l send u a link.. or get in da yahoo.. i'l send u da tutorials.. thy r good.. and good job on da chrds
yea dude.. but the staff contains of 5 lines. the lines and spaces denote the notes. since there are only 7 characters to denote seminotes u use # and b symbols.. but also ensure that a scale as for as possible has unique characters.. the reason for that is while transcribing u add the # and b near the clef to denote a scale so if u see a # at the F lne in the beginign it means thats a G major scale.. all other notes are natural but F is #. now ig u want G major scale to have Gb, how will u denote it? if u mark the G as b in the begining.. each time natrual G occurs u gotta explicitly mention that.. well u gotta do that in chormatic scales anyways .. but for diatonic u just choose the logical optimal nomenclature.. to make readin easier.. so G major would be G A B C D E F# G and not G A B C D E Gb G similarly Gm would be G A Bb C D Eb F G and not G A A# C D D# F G make sense? just to make reading easier.. J
Erm ... got it ... Sounds a little confusing, yet interesting. How about a tutorial on theory sometime, Jay? You got fantastic knowledge of theory and that's one area where my own knowledge is zilch ... - Raj.
