rizz, you can tell us like down down up-up pause down or something like that or counts .... also i have prob. on starting the chord ...meaning do i have to wait a beat or start strumming immediately or at the same time when song starts or something like that

hey madhura the best way ta pick up the strumming for any song is to listen to the song hella lota times, you need ta ignore em lyrics and listen the music behind. Another thing is ta play the chords, just keep playin em and think about how the song flows, betcha ya'll pick it up in time. peace

abhishekatus...hear the song lot of time...try to play on guitars...u'll come to know when u shud change the chords i.e from G to C or watever...u'll come to know when u'll try to play the songs....same goes for strumming pattern. keep trying...if u get tired ...rest...afterwards..pick up ur guitar start again...

play Gchord whole time, and change 3'rd note(B) to 2,nd/4'th/3'rd b (A/C/Bb)
accordingly...... so instead of G-B-D = G, we get G-A-D = Gsus2, G-C-D = Gsus4, G-Bb-D=Gm, G-D=G5 /included in G=G-B-D....

looks like much of theory though, just try it........

yeah its this down up down up that we call strumming pattern it may be down down or up up for certain part of some songs so we got to hear it first
