    Hi Ashok Ravi,

Thank you for taking the trouble to check and perfect the chords for this song. You truly have a knack for capturing the fine musical notes. It is a great honor to have an expert like you correcting my chords.

I have been struggling for years but never got my chords right. I greatly appreciate your help.

    Have a sensational day sir.

your changes feel something different in my regular practice , i think the A plain chord stand in straight forward, i can hear the guitar chord clearly and intro section and female section having too , but lead notes A towards to F , so it may feel Dm chords in my guess, they created in simple composition only, what is your thoughts for this ?

It sounds like A major to me as well on my guitar but my hear is not as good as yours or our undisputed legend. Looks like you are a legend too.

Found a better recording on YT. An A still doesn't seem to fit to my ears. The C# note (part of A chord) does not feature anywhere in the melody.
Strings in the background seem to play a C note, then briefly moving to C# before landing on D (for ther next Bb chord). I think I can faintly hear an F note in the chord played as well (which is why I thought of Dm previously).
Sounds like an F/A rather than A or Dm. Overall the chord progression for 'aasaiyil oar kadidham' part I think if C7/G, F/A, Bb for the ascension of the bass line - G to A to Bb.
Just my take that's all. Only MSV will know the exact chords used.

The legends surely have powerful ears that I am unable to hear. However, it is good to hear the exquisite intricacies of the notes and chords being discussed by the musical titans here. F/A seems to be good too for "oar". The discussion is truly beneficial for people like me.

I just noticed that Rajamalika guitarist using an A ("oar") for this part of the song. There is a remote possibility that another guitarist or musician playing the wrong note during the final recording of the original song.
