Note: Probably the first bollywood song to use flanging effects (I'm Not sure of the fact though). It was later used in the title track of "Golmaal" ( again where Pancham gave his vocals) and Hum tum se mile (rocky).....

It was indeed first bollywood song to use flanging effect. I heard a story that RDB was travelling to US and he heard this instrument which can be attached with guitar. When he brought it back in India every body discouraged him that sound is not at all "musical". He trusted his instinct and used it in this song. Ofcourse result was for everybody to see.
