Hey everyone, this is my first post on this site ... been playing since 2 months and need a little help ... Firstly, how can one find the chords of a particular song? Is it purely by ear and knowing how *each* chord sounds or is there a particular method to find the chords of a song whose chords aren't available online? And my guitar sir has started teaching us strumming patterns and rythms - like 2/4,3/4,4/4,soul,folk,benguine ... How does one determine which rhythm suits which song? Do we listen to the drum beat of the song or what ...? - Raj.
Yhea basically a combination of everything.. You give an extra ear to the chord.. And the Drum beat will give you a little hint on the kinds of options you have with Strummming patters. so all you can do is take a shortcut, REquest tabs and chords and start playing and get your strumming patters right first.. the nyo uwill start to realise that which chord fits where in Which song..
