Dudes, out of sheer luck, i got to play the guitar with the backup band for the channel V super singers. this was with the final 25 contestants out of which the final 5 will go thru. and guess who the judge was??? A. R. Rehmaan himself!!!!!!!!!!!! along with the regular dude Adnan Sami. It was fun to be playing Tu Hi Re, Chaiyyan Chaiyyan and Humma Humma etc in front of the dude who made it himself A bit of nervousness too, since the chords in most of his songs are ATRANGI man!!!!! But then it turned out to be an overall sucess. COOL SHOW, Watch out some real good talent in that show Asit Kumar, Nitin, Rimi, Natasha - my favorites

must have been great to play in front of AR rahman . . .i really respect the guy for his music. .. i heard he is very humble too . .and great music ..
sorry dudes, i dont think they will show me i didnt see the camera pan on the band for even one second but they did get the camera on me while i was speaking to the contestants on the day prior to the d-day during rehearsals, maybe they will show that. anyway, i have goofed up ONE NOTE in the start of the song Mere Mehboob Qayamat Hogi..... you can recognize me by that basically i played it out of time

uh about my TV stints... they showed us play live at the MTV AIDS concert some 2 years back. and if you saw last year's IMMIES, i was playing bass for BOMBAY VIKINGS and FALGUNI PATHAK for that song TERA MERA PYAR SANAM bad song, but yes i played there
